GWADAR: Business activities in Panjgur came to a complete standstill on Saturday as traders observed a shutter-down strike to protest the killing of renowned businessman Haji Samiullah in the Nag area of Washuk district.

All major commercial centres, financial institutions and markets across the city remained closed throughout the day in protest against the killing.

Members of the business community also staged a protest rally at Bismillah Chowk to condemn the incident.
