SARGODHA: Three members of the same family, including two children, allegedly died of food poisoning in Kalkorkot.
According to details, 4-year-old Behroz Khan, his 10-month-old sister and his aunt died on Thursday after allegedly consuming contaminated rice.
The children’s mother and maternal uncle were admitted to the hospital and their condition was said to be critical.
DROWNS: A 17-year-old girl drowned after falling into a drain adjacent to nullah connected to the River Jhelum.
Rescue 1122 said 17-year-old Kainat Iqbal slipped into the nullah in the Gachawali area of Bhera Town in Sargodha.
On receiving information, rescuers recovered the body and handed it over to her heirs.
