SWAT: Girl students secured the top three positions as the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Swat, announced the results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) annual examinations on Wednesday.
According to the results, Sahana Ahmed, a student from Tipu Model School, secured the first position, scoring 1,161 marks. Roshni, a student of Iqra Academy, Saidu Sharif, obtained 1,158 marks to claim the second position, while Zalanda Sardar, also from Tipu Model School, secured the third position with 1,156 marks.
In the Arts Group, private candidates from Shangla claimed all three top positions. Javeria Shah secured the first position with 1,047 marks, Yasra Bibi stood second with 1,039 marks, and Nayab Rehmat obtained 1,036 marks to secure the third position.
According to BISE Swat, a total of 46,484 students from Swat, Buner, and Shangla appeared in the matriculation examinations. Of these, 34,421 candidates were enrolled in the Science Group, while the remaining students appeared in the Arts Group.
The overall passing percentage in the Science Group was approximately 80 per cent, while the Arts Group recorded a passing rate of around 52 per cent.
