SAHIWAL: Faridnagar Police booked 15 people, including a TikToker, for trespassing, damaging property, and stealing official records from the residence of Assistant Commissioner Pakpattan, Muntaha Azhar, on Monday night.

Reports said Sergeant Muhammad Asif, driver Iqbal, and watchman Zulfiqar Ali were on duty at the AC’s official residence while Ms. Muntaha was inside.

At about 10:30pm, 15 men, including local TikToker Sadiq Wattoo and his colleague Shazmi Bibi, stormed the premises carrying mobile cameras, sticks, and bamboo rods.

They broke flowerpots in the courtyard, entered the drawing room, recorded videos, and began abusing the AC and her staff.

When the security staff attempted to stop them, the intruders hurled threats. They then tried to reach the AC’s bedroom but were blocked by her staff.

Meanwhile, Farid Town Police were alerted, and upon hearing police sirens, the attackers fled through the main gate.

It is alleged that the TikToker also took away official files from the AC’s table.

Deputy Commissioner Asif Raza told this correspondent by phone that a few days earlier, the AC had sealed several shops for overpricing and encroachments, which may have prompted the attack.

Faridnagar Police registered a caseunder sections 382, 452, 427, 506, 148, and 149 of the Pakistan Penal Code on the complaint of Sergeant Muhammad Asif of the Pera force.

Attempts to contact the AC on her cell phone went unanswered.

It was learnt that police arrested five persons and were investigating the matter.
