Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen has thanked Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey for their role as mediators in the agreement between the US and Iran, saying that it is a “hopeful step toward stability in the region, including Lebanon.”
“It is essential that free passage through the Strait of Hormuz is quickly restored,” he said on X. “[The Netherlands] stands ready to contribute to this.”
