LAHORE: A woman who attempted to obtain official protocol by posing herself as the chairperson of the Chief Minister’s Complaint Cell has been arrested in Jhelum, says an official press release.

The woman is said to be affiliated with the PTI.

According to the Jhelum police spokesperson, Mehnaz Saeed introduced herself to the City police as the chairperson of the chief minister’s complaint cell and sought protocol and other facilities `she was entitle to.’

Upon verification from the CM Complaint Cell, it was confirmed that the institution had no association with Mehnaz Saeed.

The spokesperson for Jhelum police further stated that after the forgery was established, the police arrested the accused along with an accomplice.

Liquor was also recovered from her vehicle.
