As part of Saaf Sehatmand Pakistan, Reckitt Pakistan marked Global Handwashing Day by launching its first AI-powered, long-format animation for the Dettol Hygiene Education Program. Created in Pakistan, the animation brings a new creative format to the Program, using technology and storytelling to make hygiene lessons more engaging and memorable for children.

The animation takes children on a larger-than-life adventure, where familiar environments transform into imaginative settings. Along the way, Dettol’s three Hygiene Heroes help them navigate everyday hygiene challenges. Through direct conversations with young viewers and creative visuals of germs, the story brings important health messages to life in a way children can relate to.

At the Global Handwashing Day school session, children watched the animation and took part in interactive activities and learnt about the eight essential steps of handwashing, and the importance of keeping their surroundings clean.

For more than a decade, the Dettol Hygiene Education Program has helped children learn practical hygiene habits, reaching around two million children each year. The animation adds a storytelling format to this work, helping children connect with its hygiene messages and understand how handwashing with soap fits into everyday life
