President greets Georgia

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has said that Pakistan attached great importance to its relations with Georgia and expanding cooperation in different fields. Mr Zardari extended felicitations to the President of Georgia, Mr Mikheil Kavelashvili, and the people of Georgia on their Independence Day.

In a message, the President said that Pakistan appreciates the scope for their steady advancement. Pakistan looks forward to further developing bilateral engagement through constructive cooperation in areas of mutual interest to the benefit of both nations.

The President further conveyed his best wishes for the peace and progress of the people of Georgia.
