ISLAMABAD: Robbers looted cash and valuables from seven different places, including a house and a shop in the capital, police said.
In the first incident, a gang of robbers looted cash and mobiles from a house at G-9/1. Two armed robbers raided the house of a doctor and held his family, including his wife and daughter, at gunpoint.
Later, the robbers looted Rs46,000 in cash and a mobile phone from them and escaped with the loot.
In another robbery, gunmen looted cash from a shop in Pakistan Town. Two armed robbers raided an Easypaisa shop owned by Basit Ali and held his brother at gunpoint.
Later, the robbers looted Rs400,000 in cash and escaped.
Moreover, another gang of robbers looted a motorcycle from a man at Pindoria. Two armed robbers intercepted Zahir-ul-Hassan when he reached Pindoria and held him at gunpoint.
Later, the robbers looted the motorcycle worth Rs75,000 from him and escaped.
Furthermore, thieves disguised as officials looted over Rs1 million in cash from a man at Dhok Haso. Three people intercepted Usman Tazim and Sher Mohammad at a carriage factory and introduced themselves as officials.
The culprits detained Usman Tazim and Sher Mohammad in a vehicle, frightened and threatened them, and later looted the cash from them and left the spot.
Meanwhile, thieves raided a godown at Banigala, abducted the owner, and later looted a motorcycle and a mobile from him. Three persons raided the godown and held up Sikanadar Hayat.
