KARACHI: A young man was shot dead near the Mewashah graveyard on Wednesday, according to police.

They added that Mohammed Ali, 25, was killed inside a private clinic in Hasan Uliya Village, where he worked.

He was cleaning the clinic when two armed men arrived there. The assailants attempted to drag him outside but he put up resistance and they shot him and fled.

He sustained critical bullet wounds and was taken to the Civil Hospital Karachi where doctors pronounced him dead.

Pak Colony SHO Faisal Gul Khawaja said the murder appeared to be an outcome of some personal enmity but they were further investigating it.
