Two paramedics have been killed and another injured in the southern city of Nabatieh after Israel “directly targeted” the team, Al Jazeera reports, citing Lebanon’s health ministry.

The paramedics were trying to rescue a wounded person who was also killed in the second attack, it says in a statement shared by the state-run National News Agency.

Israel has routinely attacked medical workers and health facilities in its intensified military assault on Lebanon, drawing international condemnation.
