Gilani condemns Bannu attack

ISLAMABAD: Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Fateh Khel Police Station in District Bannu, which resulted in the martyrdom of police personnel.

He paid tributes to the brave police officers who embraced martyrdom in the line of duty and stated that the sacrifices of Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies would never be forgotten.

He expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs and prayed for the elevation of their ranks and early recovery of the injured.

The Senate chairman said such cowardly acts cannot weaken the nation’s resolve against terrorism, reaffirming that the entire nation stood united with its security institutions in the fight against terrorism and extremism.
