LAHORE: The Punjab government on Saturday issued transfer and posting orders of several senior officers, including DIGs, SSPs and SPs, across the province.

According to a notification, Abdul Qadir Qamar was appointed DIG Establishment-I at the Central Police Office (CPO), Punjab, Lahore.

He replaced Dr Suleman Sultan Rana, who was transferred and posted as DIG Establishment-II at the CPO Punjab against an existing vacancy.

DIG Welfare and Finance Zeeshan Asghar was posted as commandant of the Police School of Intelligence, Lahore, replacing Mehboob Rashid Mian.

Mr Mian was transferred and appointed DIG Welfare and Finance at the CPO Punjab.

According to another notification, Faisal Shahzad, SSP Police School of Intelligence Lahore, was posted as AIG Logistics at the CPO Punjab, replacing Abdullah Lak, who was directed to report to the CPO pending his transfer to the National Police Academy, Islamabad.

Muhammad Rashid, SSP Intelligence, Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), Lahore, was appointed SSP/RO CTD Lahore in place of retired Capt Wahid Mehmood, who was transferred to the CPO Punjab.

Ahmad Nawaz Shah, SSP Riot Management Police, Faisalabad region, was transferred and posted as SSP Investigation Faisalabad, replacing Shahid Ahmad Khan, who was appointed SP Survey in the Special Branch Punjab, Lahore.

According to the notification, Hassan Jahangir, awaiting posting, was appointed SSP CCD Rawalpindi region under Section 9 of the Punjab Civil Servants Act, 1974.

Beenish Fatima, SP CCD Rawalpindi district, was posted as SP Operations-DIC3 Chakwal.

Other officers transferred included Hafiz Muhammad Imtiaz Ahmad, who was appointed SP Investigation Gujrat; Muhammad Riaz Naz, posted as SP Investigation Mianwali; and Azhar Saeed, transferred as SP Investigation Hafizabad.

Tanveer Ahmad Malik was directed to report to the CPO Punjab, while Akhtar Ali was appointed additional SP Jaranwala Division, Faisalabad.

Muhammad Khan was posted as additional SP Saddar Division Gujranwala, replacing Akhtar Ali, whereas Syed Mehmoodul Hassan was appointed SP Security-II and liaison officer/coordinator at the Lahore High Court.

Meanwhile, Mansoorul Hassan was transferred from SP Traffic (Pasban) Lahore and posted as SP Riot Management Police, Faisalabad region.
