Plans reviewed for new airport in Sukkur

RAWALPINDI: The feasibility study, master planning and detailed design services of the proposed Greenfield Airport at Sukkur was reviewed in a meeting held in Sukkhur, indicating the formal start of a strategically significant aviation infrastructure project.

Chaired by Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) Director General Air Vice Marshal Zeeshan Saeed, a consultative process was undertaken to ensure alignment with regional needs and expectations, said a statement issued by the PAA spokesperson.

During the session, the consultants presented a detailed work plan covering feasibility assessment, master planning and design development. This was followed by an interactive discussion enabling stakeholder input and alignment with development priorities.
