Israeli FM claims during Germany visit that south Lebanon operation to stop Hezbollah missile attacks

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar has arrived in Germany on an official visit, where he says he has discussed Iran and Lebanon, among other issues, with the president of the German parliament.

“I described the purpose of the IDF’s presence in southern Lebanon: denying Hezbollah’s anti-tank guided missile attacks against our communities and its invasion plans,” Saar claims in a post on X.
