Arrest of dacoit with Rs5m bounty claimed

LARKANA: Kashmore police have claimed that a dacoit carrying Rs5 million bounty was arrested in in a targeted action.’

The spokesman for the Larkana DIG said termed it a ‘breakthrough’, saying that “he is a highly dangerous and most-wanted bandit”.

He said that Sain Dad Banglani aka Pakhhi, son of Soomar Banglani, was netted during an ongoing targeted operation conducted within the jurisdictions of the Karampur police station near Shabbirabad police post in Kandhkot-Kashmore district.

He had had long been on the radar of law enforcement agencies across the region, the police said, adding that the Sindh government had placed a bounty of Rs5 million on his head.

Saindad was wanted in more than 14 cases of heinous crimes, including armed robbery, kidnapping for ransom, attempted murder, extortion, police encounters, and offences under the Anti-Terrorism Act.
