Zardari stresses need for effective governance in Sindh

KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday discussed overall political situation, development projects in the province with Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Governor Nehal Hashmi in a meeting held here at Bilawal House.

According to President House media wing press release, the provision of improved social services, governance, ongoing development initiatives and enhancing public welfare were reviewed in detail during the meeting.

The president emphasised the need for effective governance in the province and stressed ensuring the well-being of the people through efficient administrative measures.

Discusses political situation with CM Murad and Governor Hashmi in Bilawal House meeting

He also directed that collaboration between the government and various segments of society, including social, political, and business communities, be strengthened to achieve better results.

Highlighting the importance of coordination, the president underscored the need to enhance synergy at both national and provincial levels to make public service delivery more effective.
