LOWER DIR: Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Malakand (BISE-Malakand) has cancelled the English MCQs paper of class 9 conducted on April 20 at multiple examination centres, citing “unavoidable circumstances”.

According to an official notification, the paper carrying 15 marks was annulled at the examination centres numbered 251 to 489 following recommendations from an inquiry report initiated by the board’s controller office.

The board further announced that exam for the cancelled paper would be re-conducted on April 21 at 10am at the same examination centres.

All class 9 students and supervisory staff concerned have been directed to reappear for the examination at their respective centres at the scheduled time.

The notification has also been circulated to the relevant authorities, including the Elementary and Secondary Education Department, the commissioner of Malakand Division, and examination authorities, for necessary action and compliance.
