NAROWAL: Two youth have been booked for allegedly gang-raping a mother of five by giving her intoxicating juice and blackmailing her for a year by making a video of the assault.
The victim’s sister, a resident of Sargala Colony Shakargarh, in her complaint said that her sister, a mother of five, was residing in Bhopalpur village. She claimed that her sister told her that a year ago, her nephew took her to an animal shelter where his friend was already present.
The victim said that her nephew and his friend raped her after giving her some intoxicating juice. She said that the accused had also made videos and pictures during the assault.
The woman further claimed that the accused had been blackmailing her by threatening to make the video viral on social media. She claimed the accused had repeatedly assaulted her by blackmailing her. Because of this, she claimed her husband had also divorced her after her video made rounds on social media.
The Lesser Kalan police registered an FIR against the accused and were investigating the incident.
RAPE AND MURDER: A 15-year-old girl was allegedly murdered after being raped by unknown suspects in front of her mentally and physically disabled brother in Sheikhupura.
The uncle of the victim, a resident of Labanwala, Ferozwala tehsil of Sheikhupura, in his complaint said that they lived in a joint family where his elder brother’s 17-year-old was mentally and physically disabled. He said that all their family members went to attend a marriage ceremony at 2pm on Tuesday except for his nephew and his 15-year-old sister M, who stayed behind to look after her brother.
He said that when they returned home at 5:30pm, they found the dead body of M lying on the bed and her throat was slit.
He claimed that it appeared that unknown accused had killed his niece with a sharp instrument after raping her.
On receiving the information, a local police team reached the spot and the Ferozwala police registered an FIR against the unknown accused. The police team gathered evidence and recorded statements of local people from the area and further investigation was underway.
