Ishaq Dar further said that the total number of Pakistanis residing in Iran was around 35,000.

He noted that Azerbaijan was providing visa-on-arrival to Pakistanis who were arriving there from Iran.

The minister said that over 300 Irani nationals entered Pakistan via the Taftan border, with diplomatic missions facilitating 792 Pakistanis’ return.

“Our cross-border arrangements are active,” he said, adding that people were being provided food and accommodation after crossing the border.
