Over 50 held, arms, booty recovered

LARKANA: As many as 58 suspected criminals were arrested and weapons, looted motorcycles and other goods were recovered from them in a crackdown across Larkana district, police said.

The crackdown was launched on a directive of SSP Ahmed Chaudhry, they said.

The police said that two of the arrested suspects were also wanted in the murder case of a woman, Latifan Shah. They identified the suspects as Zahid Shar and Salim Raza Shar.

The weapons used in the murder were seized from them, the police said. Two other suspects, Manzoor Zehrani and Ghulam Omar Junejo, were wanted in the murder case of Sultan Zehrani, they said.
