RAWALPINDI: Commissioner Abdul Aamer Khattak has assumed the additional charge of Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Director General and asked the officials to improve the public complaint redressal procedure. On this occasion, Additional Director General RDA Mohammad Anwar Baran and senior officials of the RDA were present.
They briefed the Commissioner Rawalpindi on various ongoing and upcoming development projects of RDA, including the Rawalpindi Ring Road, Leh Nullah Project and other important development initiatives. The commissioner directed that the overall performance of RDA be further improved and stressed that the Authority must play an effective and constructive role in the development of Rawalpindi.
He emphasized working with honesty, integrity, and transparency, and instructed all RDA officers and staff to ensure punctuality and strictly observe official working hours. He directed the RDA officials to strictly follow up on the Chief Minister’s directives regarding fire safety measures.
He emphasized ensuring the effective implementation of fire safety standards in all relevant buildings and projects, and directed the concerned officers to carry out regular inspections and take prompt action to ensure public safety and compliance with the Chief Minister’s directives.
For public facilitation, the Commissioner Rawalpindi directed that flex banners be displayed at RDA offices containing clear and comprehensive information regarding application procedures and file completion requirements, enabling citizens to submit applications with complete documentation and avoid unnecessary inconvenience.
