ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting here on Tuesday emphasised strengthening the Press Council of Pakistan (PCP) in terms of human resources, finances and technology in order to capacitate the council to effectively regulate the print media sector.
Chairman of the Committee, Mr Pullain Baloch, asked the information ministry to pursue the matter related to pending liabilities of all organisations under the ministry.
