TOBA TEK SINGH: An alleged robber wanted in five murder and 34 robbery and theft cases was killed in the wee hours of Wednesday by the Bara Ghar Police in Nankana Sahib district.

Police said SHO Feroz Bhatti along with a team was patrolling on the Syedwala Road when they saw deceased Amjad Jeera and his two accomplices taking away three stolen animals.

Police claimed that they opened fire on the policemen, which was also returned. When the guns went silent, police searched the nearby fields and found the accused dead while his accomplices had escaped leaving the stolen animals there.
