The Karachi Traffic Police has said that a major road has suffered damage after heavy rains lashed the city.

First and second tracks of Jehangir Road heading from Dak Khana towards Teen Hatti have caved in, it said.

“No major traffic issue but caution is advised,” it added in a post at 8:48am.

In a post at 2:51am, it said: “KMC’s substandard sewerage line work has caused the road to sink on the first and second tracks; traffic is being managed through the third track.”
