The Ganda Wala Singh headwork on the river Sutlej continues to be in an “exceptionally high flood” with the outflowing water level currently at 311,673 cusecs, according to the latest data by the Flood-Forecasting Division.

On Ravi, water levels at Sidhnai (99,966 cusecs) and Balloki (157,395 cusecs) headworks indicated a “very high flood”, with Sidhnai showing a “falling” trend and Balloki at a “steady” flow.
