KARACHI: A meeting was held in the office of Home Minister Zia-Ul-Hassan Lanjar to deliberate on the revamping of the arms licensing system.
Under the proposed reforms, residents will have the option to convert their current computerised licences into smart card-based licences.
Mr Lanjar suggests the Nadra to include ballistic signatures of bullets on licences, a unique feature to assist in tracing the ownership of bullets used in crimes.
