SPSC conducts first computer-based tests

HYDERABAD: The Sindh Public Service Commission on Monday conducted three different Computer-Based Tests (CBTs) for the post of lecturers in as many subjects and announced the results of one exam soon after the culmination of the test.
According to a press release, the SPSC conducted three different CBTs for the post of lecturer (BPS-17) in Biology, Pakistan Studies and Islamic Studies subjects at the Provincial Institute of Teacher Education (PITE).
It said that the entire process was executed smoothly, ensuring a fair and conducive testing environment for all candidates.
“The result for the post of the Biology lecturer (BPS-17) was announced soon after the culmination of the test,” it said, adding that the quick announcement of the result shows that the Commission has absolved itself from allegations of nepotism, favouritism and corruption in all their forms.
The CBT system was inaugurated by Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on July 17 at the SPSC head office in Hyderabad. The system was introduced as part of broader digital transformation and transparency agenda.
