KARACHI: The second KC Jinko Solar Open National Tennis Championship saw lop-sided wins in the men’s first round here at the Karachi Club on Monday.

Abdullah Adnan recorded a flawless 6-0, 6-0 win over Rayan Ahmed, while Barkatullah Khan overcame Ahmed Babar 7-5, 6-0. Muhammad Salar advanced after Ruhab Faisal retired at 6-1, 2-0 and Raahim Veqar secured a 6-2, 6-3 victory against Kashan Tariq.

Muhammad Yahya beat Nabeel Wayum 6-1, 6-3. Mahateer Muhammad defeated Yasir Fazli 6-4, 6-1, Yousuf Khalil (Peshawar) topped Ismail Aftab 6-1, 6-2 and Sami Zaib won against Hassam Khan 6-1, 6-0.

In ladies first round play, Inaya Sayyed earned a thumping 6-0, 6-0 win over Tahreem Yousuf and Sabrina Khan similarly crushed Ayesha Yousuf 6-0, 6-0.

Boys Under-14: Meer Abbas Bhagat bt Ashter Alam Khan 4-2, 4-0; M. Ayan Shahbaz bt Muzammil Babar 4-1, 4-1.
