PESHAWAR: Rubab Mehdi took oath as the new Provincial Ombudsperson of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in a solemn oath-taking ceremony held at the Governor’s House here on Monday.

Governor Faisal Karim Kundi administered the oath and congratulated Rubab Mehdi on assuming her new responsibilities.

He extended his best wishes for her success and expressed hope that she would play an effective role in promoting justice and addressing public grievances.

The ceremony was attended by senior administrative officials from various government departments as well as other distinguished guests.
