HYDERABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari is likely to inaugurate Hyderabad’s ‘flagship projects’ towards the end of current month.
This was stated by Chief Secretary Syed Asif Hyder Shah, who paid a day-long visit to the sites of several such projects on Thursday along with Hyderabad Mayor Kashif Shoro and administration officials.
The CS has been overseeing these projects and monitoring pace of progress over the last few months.
The projects included the much needed green space being created at a cost of multi-billion rupees.
A precise date of Bilawal’s visit is yet to be given.
The Sindh CS told Dawn that a number of other schemes which were included in 2025-26 budget proposals were ready for groundbreaking.
“But the [PPP] chairman is likely to inaugurate completed schemes first in his expected visit this month, he said at the end of his Thursday visit.
He said that these schemes, in fact, reflected PPP leadership’s commitment for the upgradation of Sindh’s major cities in terms of infrastructure development.
