KARACHI, May 12: Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussein has observed that service to humanity is the prime objective of worship.

Talking to MQM central committee members from America at the party’s international secretariat in London, he lauded their efforts during relief operations after the devastating October 8 earthquake in Azad Kashmir and parts of the NWFP.

He said that MQM members from the US and Canada had sent aid, including medicines, blankets etc, worth millions of rupees for victims of the earthquake and earned prayers of the sufferers.

They had even cancelled their vacations for the sake of service to humanity, for which they would be rewarded by God Almighty, he added.—PPI
