‘Rapist’ held

BAHAWALNAGAR: A Division police claimed to have arrested a youth on Monday, who allegedly raped a woman by telling her a false story about her husband’s accident.

Police said a youth of Bilal Kot village visited the home of a woman of the same area on June 20 and informed her about her husband’s accident.

The young man offered to take the woman to the hospital but took her to his home, where he raped her, they said.

Police said the suspect was arrested.
