KARACHI: The Sindh Excise and Taxation Department has granted a two-month relaxation on the mandatory biometric verification required for the transfer of vehicle ownership.
According to a notification, the condition of biometric verification for the seller has been temporarily waived until August 14. During this period, vehicle ownership in the province may be transferred using only the seller’s computerised national identity card.
It stated the decision aims to facilitate the public and streamline the vehicle transfer process.
