RAWALPINDI: A total of 472 emergencies, including 118 road traffic accidents, one drowning, and two murders, were reported with the emergency services Rescue 1122 during Eidul Azha holidays.

A spokesman for the emergency services said that a total of 472 emergencies were reported to the rescue services, of which 118 were road traffic accidents that occurred in different parts of the garrison city. However, no death was reported in road traffic accidents during Eid holidays.

Of the 472 emergencies — 264 were related to medical, 22 fire incidents, 15 crime incidents, and one drowning incident were reported.

He said that 26 deaths were reported — 23 of which were related to medical, two to crime, and one to drowning.

On the first day of Eidul Azha, 60 road traffic accidents, 09 crimes, and 129 medical emergencies were reported.
