QUETTA: Two men were found shot dead in Kalat district on Tuesday.

Residents informed the local administration and authorities about the presence of the two bodies in the Ganda Gain area of Sheikhri union council in Kalat. Acting on the information, Levies personnel rushed to the site and shifted the bodies to the rural health centre, Mongochar, for identification.

“Multiple bullet wounds were found on the bodies, which caused their deaths on spot,” a Levies official quoted hospital sources as saying. The deceased were identified as Samiullah and Bismillah, both residents of Pringabad area of Mastung district.

Levies officials said it could be targeted killing, but investigation was underway to ascertain the motive and culprits.
