KARACHI: The Pakistan Padel Ranking Cup wrapped up here at Sport On, with Padel Star, TRIBS and Super Striker securing titles in the men’s, women’s and Boys Under-14 categories, respectively on Sunday.
In the men’s final, the duo of Aamil and Murtazain Shoaib representing Padel Star secured the title with a 6-3, 7-6 over Katch Brothers (M. Azhar & Nafees Yaqoob). The third place was awarded to Tigers Team (Rayyan Younas & Abdullah) after their opponents, Gar Gala Team (Farhan Mustafa & Abdul Rehman), conceded via walkover while being a set down.
The women’s category saw Natalia Zaman and Natasha of TRIBS dominate the final against MUV Team of Mehak Tehrani & Saira Umer, winning comfortably 6-1, 8-6. Control X Power (Safina & Neha Khan) claimed third place with a decisive 7-5, 6-3 win against Sister Squad (Sher Beg & Saleena Beg).
Super Striker (Azhar & Mustafa) captured the boys Under-14 championship, outplaying Allawala Team (Ansarullah & Azhar Allawala) 7-5, 6-0 in the final. The battle for third place proved the most thrilling, with A2 Brothers (Arsh & Azan) narrowly defeating Shaheen Team (M. Bin Haris & Rayyan) 7-5, 5-7, 7-5.
Winning teams received PKR100,000 and trophies, runners-up earned PKR50,000 and third-place finishers were awarded PKR25,000.
The tournament was organized by the Pakistan Padel Federation under the auspices of the International Padel Federation and Padel Asia, in collaboration with the Sindh Padel Association and Sport On Clifton, Karachi.
