NAROWAL: A young woman and her daughter died, while her husband and minor son were seriously injured, when a speeding dumper truck ran over the motorcycle they were riding on Qila Sattar Shah bypass at Sheikhupura on Tuesday.

As per Rescue 1122 spokesman, Kalim (35), along with his wife Shazia (30), daughter Sana (9) and son Abrar (5) were riding motorcycle on Qila Sattar Shah bypass, when it was ran over by a speeding dumper truck.

As a result, Shazia and her daughter Sana died on the spot, while Kalim and his son Abrar were seriously injured.

The spokesman said a Rescue 1122 team arriving on the scene provided first aid to the injured man and his son and shifted them to the Sheikhupura District Headquarters Hospital.

He said the bodies of the woman and her daughter were handed over to a team of local police arriving at the spot for legal action.

He said the driver manage to flee with the dumper truck after the accident.

The police recorded statements of witnesses and collected evidence from the spot.
