Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr Badr Abdelatty has welcomed the ceasefire between Pakistan and India in a phone call with Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, the Foreign Office (FO) said in a post on X.
“Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar received a phone call from Egypt’s Foreign Minister, Dr Badr Abdelatty, who welcomed the ceasefire understanding between Pakistan and India,” the statement read.
Dar “reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to promoting regional peace and security”.
