President Asif Ali Zardari has said that Pakistan has given a “befitting reply” to Indian aggression.
In a post on X, he said: “I have always had faith in the armed forces … We have severely damaged the so-called military might of India. Today, the resolve of our nation is unparalleled.”
He thanked allied nations, including China, the United States, Turkiye, Saudi Arabia and Iran, for standing “with us in this difficult hour”.
“Pakistan does not want provocation, it wants peace. We will never compromise on our sovereignty,” he said.
