Federal Minister for Health Syed Mustafa Kamal said all health authorities and hospitals are on high alert.

“Given the current geopolitical climate, we are proactively implementing comprehensive measures to handle any emergency situations that may arise,” he stated.

The Islamabad Health Regulatory Authority, on the directives of the health minister, issued a comprehensive emergency memo to all government and private hospitals across Islamabad, the Health Ministry spokesperson Sajid Hussain Shah said.

The memo emphasises the importance of maintaining sufficient supplies of blood, with all blood groups and antisera adequately stocked, along with an updated list of blood donors.
