Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said no country was standing India today, except for Israel. “Most of the countries across the world are neutral over the issue,” he told the National Assembly.
Asif stated that some of “our friends such as China, Turkiye and Azerbaijan” had come forward in “clear-cut” support of Pakistan.
The defence minister apprised the Parliament that the government was in contact with Iran, UAE, Saudi Arabia, China and Qatar on a daily basis to de-escalate the crisis.
