Canteen food, a bite of reality
This is with reference to the cover story “Canteen food, a bite of reality” by Benazir Raz (YW, February 8).

It was a very informative article on a topic that is rarely discussed or given due attention. We should be mindful of the food served in educational institutions canteens and always prioritise health over convenience or taste.

Junk food is widely available and highly tempting due to its saucy, spicy and sweet flavours. However, as youngsters are the future generation, they must be cautious about their eating habits. No doubt, fast food is irresistible, but maintaining a healthy balance is essential for long-term well-being.

Bidding farewell

This is with reference to the story “Bidding farewell” by Humna Faisal (YW, February 8). The story described the difficulty of being separated from friends with whom you’ve spent a lot of your time. It taught us that being apart doesn’t mean the end of a relationship, but rather, we should cherish their love and memories in our hearts.

I found the story “Bidding farewell” by Humna Faisal very relatable and touching, as it beautifully portrays the emotional bond we share with those we hold dear. The message that distance doesn’t end a relationship, but rather keeps the love and memories alive, is truly heart-warming.

The story conveys that relationships are not limited to proximity, but are deeply rooted in the heart.

A positive change

This is with reference to the story “A positive change” by Muhammad Rayyan (YW, February 8). Whenever we visit a place, we should respect the environment and avoid throwing plastic or trash, as it harms animals.

It is important to conserve and respect both animals and the environment, and take care of them for a healthier environment.

Muhammad Rayyan’s story “A positive change” highlighted the importance of cleaning our environment and protecting the creatures around us. Often, we carelessly throw garbage into the water, disregarding its impact on marine life. We must all work together to combat pollution and save animals and raise awareness about it. I appreciate the writer’s perspective on aquatic life and the environment.
