Harry Potter shop headed to Chicago

Warner Bros. Discovery’s Harry Potter Shop Chicago opens on April 10 at 676 N Michigan Avenue, Chicago, offering themed areas, exclusive merchandise and props. The store features a moving mermaid-stained glass window, ‘flaming’ broomsticks, a shimmering Golden Egg centrepiece, a maze-patterned floor and the Goblet of Fire itself.

A Honeydukes-style confectionery will offer Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans, Chocolate Frogs and an interactive jellybean experience. Fans can find Chicago-exclusive merchandise, including a themed bear, spirit jersey and collectibles, while the House Pride section provides apparel, accessories and a fitting room.The attraction include The Room of Wands, while a personalisation section offers custom robes, wands and Hogwarts acceptance letters. The MinaLima section will showcase graphic designs from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films.

DreamWorks Animation’s Jurassic World: Chaos Theory returns April 3 on Netflix with 10 new episodes. Now ‘The Nublar Five,’ the group faces deadly dinosaurs, old and new friends and the fallout of Brooklynn’s shocking rejection, as she becomes entangled in a criminal web of dinosaur trafficking.

The voice cast includes Paul-Mikél Williams, Sean Giambrone, Darren Barnet, Raini Rodriguez, Kausar Mohammed and more. Produced by Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow, Frank Marshall and DreamWorks Animation.

Iyanu animated series unveiled

Cartoon Network’s Iyanu, an original animated series based on Roye Okupe’s graphic novel Iyanu: Child of Wonder, will premiere on April 5, with streaming on Max the following day.

Set in the magical kingdom of Yorubaland, the series follows Iyanu, a brave orphan who discovers divine powers while uncovering a looming threat. She embarks on a journey with friends Biyi, Toye and a magical leopard, Ekun.

Produced by Lion Forge Entertainment, the series features an all-African voice cast.
