QUETTA / DERA MURAD JAMALI: An elder of Kakozai tribe was killed in an armed clash along with another man in Qila Abdullah area, on Saturday evening.

Levies officials said automatic weapons were used from both sides in the armed clash between Kakozai and Badowan tribes triggered by an attack on the elder of the Kakozai tribe. At least two people were killed, officials said.

Levies officials shifted the bodies and injured to hospital where the deceased were identified as Malik Mohammad Hanif Kakozai and Niamatullah, while the injured included one Wakeel.

Separately, three people including a woman were killed in an attack in Dera Bugti, on Saturday.

Levies officials said armed men barged into a house on the outskirts of Dera Bugti and opened fire, resulting in the killing of three persons, including a woman, on the spot and injuring another woman. Officials suspected old enmity as motive for the killings.
