The Israeli army has issued a statement on the latest casualties in Jenin, claiming its soldiers and special forces killed three Palestinian fighters, Al Jazeera reports.
In one incident, the army said Israeli counterterrorism police killed two fighters and wounded another. In a separate incident, it said Israeli soldiers killed one fighter while destroying a vehicle filled with weapons.
In addition, Israeli forces arrested 10 people in Jenin, including one it identified as a “senior operative” of a local fighting group.
