LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar announced to enhance the monthly scholarship from Rs25,000 to Rs60,000, the number of internees from 6,000 to 10,000 and duration from six months to one year in the next phase of Chief Minister Internship Programme.

He made the announcement while addressing the Progress Review Session of Chief Minister Internship Programme at the e-Library and Youth Centre, Nishtar Park Sports Complex, on Thursday.

Faisal Khokhar also directed to establish a complaint cell at the NPSC e-Library. He also directed the officers concerned to resolve the problems of youth on a priority basis.

After his speech, the minister also conducted a 2-way discussion with the internees. The internees shared their problems in 2-way discussion and the Provincial Minister replied to all the queries in detail. Addressing the session, the minister said 70 to 80 jobs with a salary package of Rs100,000 would be created in the next phase of internship programme.
