LAKKI MARWAT, April 26: Lakki District Nazim Humayun Saifullah Khan is trying to get approval for the phase-III of the district headquarters hospital project, a spokesman for his office said here on Wednesday.

The phase III project will increase the number of hospital beds from 160 to 200. The project includes construction of an office for medical superintendent, residential buildings for doctors, a police post and an overhead water tank and installation of a tube-well.

The district nazim was in constant contact with the provincial authorities to get the project approved and funds for it released, the spokesman said.

The project will help the local people and those of southern districts of the province to get healthcare facilities near their homes.
