Ryan Gosling in talks for new Star Wars movie

Ryan Gosling is reportedly in negotiations to star in an untitled Star Wars movie directed by Shawn Levy, known for Deadpool and Wolverine.

The film, which has been in development for over two years, is expected to be a standalone project. Levy, who is co-writing the screenplay with Jonathan Tropper, will produce alongside Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy. Gosling’s involvement is not confirmed yet, but the film is slated for a 2026 release.

Kaitlyn Dever joins the cast of Godzilla x Kong 2

Kaitlyn Dever has joined the cast of Godzilla x Kong 2, a sequel to 2024’s Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, the franchise’s highest-grossing instalment and the highest-grossing Godzilla film of all time. Directed by Grant Sputore, the film’s plot remains under wraps, but Godzilla and Kong are expected to take centre stage.

Dever, known for her role as Abby in HBO’s The Last of Us Season 2, will play an undisclosed character. The new movie is described as a continuation of the franchise centring Godzilla, Kong and an assortment of other Titans.

The movie is set for a March 26, 2027 release.

Daredevil returns in Black Armour

In Daredevil #20, Matt Murdock suits up in his classic black armour to face a new threat from within Hell’s Kitchen. Written by Saladin Ahmed and illustrated by José Luis Soares, the issue brings back this iconic look, originally seen in the 1990s, during storylines like “Last Rites” and “Fall From Grace.”

After the events of Daredevil #19, Matt is more isolated, but finds comfort in a long-lost love, while a dangerous new enemy emerges.
