KARACHI: A judicial magistrate on Tuesday granted bail to two dumper drivers, who were arrested for violating a ban on movement of heavy vehicles during the daytime.

The SITE-B police arrested drivers Jawaid Ullah and Salamat Khan for bringing their dumper trucks on road between 1pm and 2pm near Shershah and booked them under Section 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant)of the Pakistan Penal Code.

The investigating officer produced the drivers before Judicial Magistrate (West) Rehana Shar, who declined to grant their physical remand and enlarged them bail against surety bonds of Rs15,000 each.
